How can I say in Japanese,  when I do something?

 

に (action point time)

 

When we want to talk about when we do something, a particle

 

ni

at

 

is used, as such

 

 毎日、7時に起きます。

mainichi shichi ji ni oki masu.

I wake up at 7 am every day.

 

土曜日と日曜日に働きます。

doyoubi to nichiyoubi ni hataraki masu.

I work on Saturdays and Sundays.

 

How to make a question with に

 

If we want to ask about when we do something at, replace X of Xに with a question word, such as :

 

A :

毎日、何時に起きますか。

mainichi nanji ni okimasu ka.

What time do you wake up each day?

 

B :

7時に起きます。

shichi ji ni oki masu.

I wake up at 7 am (every day).

 

A :

何曜日に働きますか。 

nanyoubi ni hataraki masu ka.

What days of the week do you work?

 

B :

土曜日と日曜日に働きます。

doyoubi to nichiyoubi ni hataraki masu.

I work on Saturdays and Sundays.
